Having a love of houseplants and experience selling them prior, Kali along with Melissa Kali co-founded The Glasshouse in 2019 and has been our Managing Director since it’s inception.

Having a love of houseplants and experience selling them previously, Kali has designed plant installations for acclaimed offices, private clubs and homes across London and the Southeast. She has written articles and been featured in Gardens Illustrated, RHS Magazine, Financial Times and BBC interviews to name a few. Kali has oversight of The Glasshouse Team, plant installations and our events, Kali is involved in every single installation, no matter the size. She has been a guest speaker at many events relating to botanical design as well as prison reform and advises other organisations on how to implement the criminal justice system in their work to benefit both the employer and the employee.

She brings her wealth of business experience with her after gaining a first at Emory University, USA. Melissa and Kali have been business partners for over 20 years. Despite many set backs along with the pandemic 1 month after The Glasshouse encorperated, Kali has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the women of the programme and has grown The Glasshouse to the organsitation today as an award winning Social Enterprise which has over 30 regular maintenance clients including the likes of Vodafone, Ernsten Young, C & Hoare Bank, Big Society Capital. Kali is always striving to expand our programme and ensures it has a significant impact and is about to fulfil one her Glasshouse dreams; being a Chelsea Flower Show Designer.

In her spare time (rarity!) she enjoy times with her family, her husband and 3 teenager children are a common prescence within The Glasshouse office along with their little pug, Max.
