PLANT INSTALLATION
Nature brings life and freshness to interior environments and if applied strategically, can transform spaces into inspiring, inviting havens. Biophilic principles, and specifically creating opportunities for human connection with nature, form the basis of our project and all of our plant installations.
From single installations to cohesive building-wide interior landscapes, our services are design-led and bespoke. We work closely with clients to achieve their objectives, offering design, planning, installation and maintenance. We strive to be plastic-free and ethical in every aspect of our business.
The Glasshouse is the only not-for-profit plant installation provider in the UK. Our team of ex-offenders grow, propagate and prepare our plants as they work towards a recognised horticulture qualification. Upon release, we aim to provide employment or place them in industry jobs and provide support for housing needs. We have an experienced, talented team working alongside our ex-offender team to ensure the highest quality and consistency of service.
Our plants are good for everyone and our clients are corporations of all sizes who wish to provide a unique, beautiful and healthy environment for employees and customers whilst supporting our project.

PLANT MAINTENANCE
Our horticultural team meticulously maintains and nurtures our installed plants, ensuring they look beautiful and healthy. During our visits 2-3 times monthly, we clean, prune, feed, treat, water and check lighting. The members of our team are dedicated and specialist trained. Every plant is important to us.

WORKSHOPS
We offer a series of potting and planting workshops at your office or offsite. Our workshops allow our team to share their story and the benefits of horticulture whilst imparting their expertise and knowledge.
Attendees take home a plant, grown by our women prisoners, in our handmade grey clay pot and matching tray. Participants learn to mix appropriate compost and practice plant maintenance and repotting whilst hearing about the positive effects of bringing nature inside the home, work and in prisons.

CORPORATE GIFTING
Our ethical and sustainable plants make a memorable and meaningful gift from socially-minded companies to employees, clients, customers and partners.
Plants are well known to have a positive impact in the workspace, boosting mood and optimism, increasing effectiveness and cleaning the air.
With the recent increase in home working, companies including Brompton and COOK have supported their teams and clients by sending our easy-care, oxygenating plants direct to their door. Every delivery is carefully prepared and packaged by our women who are serving prisoners in UK prisons.
HOW IT’S DONE
Choose an option from one of our existing plant levels or create a bespoke order. All our plants are delivered ready to go to work in a handmade pot with matching tray and wrapped beautifully in plastic-free, sustainable packaging.
We will work with you to create a tag with your message and logo, accompanied by plant care advice and information about The Glasshouse project.
Shipping within the UK is always included in our price - we use first class Royal Mail as standard.
Our corporate clients play a key role in helping us accomplish our mission to offer second chances and reduce reoffending. All profits are reinvested to expand and grow our programmes in prisons and for ex-offenders after release.
