The response has been beyond anything we could have ever imagined.

Kali & Melissa started this project with 1 mission, to reduce reoffending in women, at the time the national average was 60%. Here at The Glasshouse we have 0% reoffending. Every single of the 30+ women that have come through this project have been released with safe housing and have started paid employment or further training within 6 weeks.
These are women that have been shunned by society, broken, been lead down paths they did not wish to take, suffered substance abuse, have mental health issues, the list is endless.

We provide whatever support they need to ensure they have another option instead of returning to prison. They earn a living wage to save up for release, during their time in prison they pay up to 40% of their wages to victims charities and are tax paying members of society.

Instead of being within a confined cell one day and being released with little support, we slowly reintegrate these women back into society.

Many people have got in touch asking how they can support us, so:

- We offer plant installation and maintenance in and around London offices, bars, restaurants and other event spaces. We also offer long and short term plant hire for those special events. These installations can often fund several women working towards a second chance at a time.

-We have an online shop where people can purchase our plants. Every plant sold is nurtured, potted, packed and shipped by women working towards a second chance.
