25th May
DAY 12
Today was the last day of our exhibit, The Glasshouse Effect at Chelsea Flower Show 2024.
The team could have never imagined when the idea of people in prison and The Glasshouse Team designing an exhibit at RHS Chelsea. Malvern Garden Buildings and Ello Dave (Creative Consultants) sponsored The Glasshouse to have an opportunity to showcase our talents like we knew we could. The press we have received has been incredible as has the supporters who have got in touch throughout the world offering messages of support.
Somehow this team went from a dream out of reach to Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal winners. Our orders have grown by 500% and many new corporate contracts are on the horizon. We knew we could do this, like women in custody, we just needed a chance to prove ourselves and we have done that.
Our goal with your support is to give every woman in custody an opportunity like The Glasshouse. Our team who have been released from prison each day to work with us have learnt valuable skills during this time, their mental health, anxiety and confidence have all improved due to the unbelievable support we have recieved.
All of our exhibit is for sale, at cost price, as is Malvernβs beautiful Victorian Greenhouse which housed our exhibit. Get in touch if you wish to grab a piece of Chelsea history at the fraction of the cost.
Them team are exhausted after the most intense 2 weeks The Glasshouse has ever endured however, receiving all the messages of support means tiredness becomes insignificant.
Thank you so much to Malvern Garden Buildings, Ello Dave, The RHS, Chelsea Flower Show, Katie Piper, Julia Bradbury and the very long list of people that have supported us this week. It has been a joy to be around our fellow Houseplant studio exhibits and we congratulate everyone on their stunning designs.
Tomorrow is break down day for some of our team, thank you for following our Chelsea journey
With heartfelt thanks
